Read MoreResiliencePlus Africa (RPA) was established in response to the escalating challenges facing vulnerable communities across Africa, particularly those related to inadequate education and healthcare access, climate change impacts, unstable livelihood/ economic insecurity and persistent food insecurity. The organization emerged from a recognition that traditional development approaches often failed to address the interconnected nature of these challenges and the need for more holistic, community-centered interventions that build genuine resilience rather than temporary relief. The founding vision centered on creating an organization that would work directly with communities to co-create solutions based on local knowledge, scientific evidence, and sustainable development principles. From its inception, ResiliencePlus Africa committed to operating with the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and community participation, ensuring that interventions genuinely respond to community-identified needs and priorities rather than externally imposed agendas.
Since inception, ResiliencePlus Africa (RPA) has been working closely with local communities, government institutions, and development partners to address systemic challenges including poor health services, insecurity, poverty, gender-based violence, lack of clean water, and food insecurity.
